(Je vais écrire ce commentaire en anglais, car si vous ne pouvez pas lire l'anglais, cette méthode n'est pas de tout pour vous.)As a fairly experienced guitarist, I ordered only the Intermediate and Advanced volumes in this series, believing (correctly) that the Beginning volume would be unncessary for me. But there's little truly "intermediate" or "advanced" in either of these two books. I was surprised in fact to discover the very basic level of much of the material presented in both of these volumes. In other words, prepare to be bored out of your skull if you already know how to play the guitar!I believe the title of the series is also deceptive. For me, "Acoustic Blues Guitar" is all about Delta Blues and related finger-picked styles of blues. Much of the material in these books, however, is geared to flat-picking and could just as easily apply to the electric guitar.Another problem with these books is the structure, which jumps from topic to topic - serving up a lot of scales and theory -- without any feeling of progression. The books end up trying to cover far too much ground in far too few pages. It's a scattershot approach that I believe will leave a beginning guitarist extremely frustrated.I disliked these books so much I've immediately sent them back, thanks to Amazon's awesome return policy.
